Flower Pounding  & Embroidery Workshop
Learn how to make a beautiful print by experimenting with fresh flowers as a medium then with some simple embroidery techniques, bring your beautiful print to life!
In this 3 hour workshop you will learn the process for transferring the dyes of plant materials to fabric. After some experiments on paper, you will choose what sample you like the most and apply the technique by creating an original flower pounded print on your T-shirt/blouse/fabric.
Once you have created your final print you will choose contrasting or complimenting colours of thread to enhance your design.

What to bring:
A fabric, shirt, blouse, or other item that you would like to costumize. Cotton works best!
All supplies included along with your choice or of barista coffee (please let us know your coffee of choice in the order notes as these will be delivered)
With no experience necessary, Julianne will show you all the techniques needed for creating your botanical printed and embroidered piece with little or as much guidance as you like. Aphrodite Art School will have your creative goddess shining. Open to all ages.
Aphrodite Cottage (Jules’ Home Studio is at 51 Whitman Street, it is a white weatherboard cottage with a white picket fence. There is ample parking across the road, next to the caravan park.
