Hike & Paint on Woppa (Great Keppel Island)

Enjoy the company of likeminded souls as we gently hike to the most beautiful vistas of Woppa (Great Keppel Island). 
Take a deep breath of fresh coast air and enjoy the relaxing and incredibly rewarding art of Plein Air Painting. All painting supplies are provided including your own Plein Air painting kit to take home.
You will be in capable and confident hands as artist, teacher and ex Park Ranger Julianne Holland guides you through the stunning coastal scrub landscape before settling on one of the two planned lookout points. Here we will get comfortable in a shady spot and settle in for some creative fun and a bite to eat. This workshop is designed for participants to relax and have fun, Jules’ extensive experience in field guiding, conservation and tourism, combined with her many years of teaching art workshops will help you feel at ease and well taken care of. Be prepared for lots of laughs and new friends made!
En plein air is a French expression meaning “in the open air”, and refers to the act of painting outdoors with the artist's subject in full view. Plein air artists capture the spirit and essence of a landscape or subject by incorporating natural light, color and movement into their works. Students will be gently guided to discover their own painting style in a relaxed inclusive and friendly atmosphere.
Lunch is included which will consist of sandwiches and healthy trail bars. Please advise if any food intolerances when booking your ticket.
