ROMA, Oct 25 - BYO Akubra - Embroidered Hat Art For Beginners

To be held on October 25th at 9am in the beatiful gardens of Moorelands Nusery.
 
This package is for students who wish to use a hat of their own to embroider into. Please keep in mind that darker hats such as black or brown will be more difficult to use in this course 
 
Join Jules, founder and designer of Bella Terra Firma for a morning of creativity and insight into how she creates her bespoke embroidered hats. With step by step guidence you will learn the basics and create your own embrodered hat from the gorgeous relaxed location of Moorelands Nursery. Get comfy, get social and enjoy this unique creative practice. 
 
With step by step tutelage, students will be guided through conducting preliminary sketches on paper, drawing a freehand design onto their hat, embroidering Jules' unique Line Darwing technique and then 'painting with thread' to block in colour. The workshop will run for approx. two and a half hours. Students will not finish their design in this time but will have developed the skills and suppplies to carry on with their design in their own time.
 
This Embroidery Kit includes everything you will need to create a beautiful embroidered hat that can be worn and cherished for years to come.

-DMC cotton thread & embroidery needles
-Gold plated embroidery scissors
-Frixon heat erasable pen
-Paper and greylead pencil
